Hello gorgeous humans. I hope you all are having a fantastic day filled with joy and happiness. Today, I wanted to share with you my quickest and easiest recipe: a good, sweet and delicious green juice to start the day with lots of energy and essential vitamins! I personally think it's really important to get the right nutrients right when you wake up in the morning. Even though some people might tell me "oh but green juices are soooo gross", wait a second and let me prove you wrong. Green juices are delicious when you make them well, with the right ingredients and vegetables. My number one key to a successful green juice is to add a fruit to make it sweet! I remember one time I forgot to add something sweet with all the greens I've added in the juicer and it did not taste nice I have to tell you!
The reason why I love green juices (or homemade juices in general) is because they are so nice to make on a Saturday or Sunday morning when you want a cozy and good way to start the day. You have lots of vegetables in your fridge that you think will go bad if you don't use them right away? Make a juice! Only by looking at the color of the juices I make, I know they will make me feel amazing. Carrots, spinach, kale, oranges, apples, cucumber are all delicious options to put in your juicer. In comparison to coffee, homemade juices bring in my system a complete different type of energy. Coffee makes me feel energetic, but kind of in a stressful way. However, juices make me feel wide awake and I feel my body responding better to my environment. Also, it gives me a lot more energy long term.
If you're like me and you don't own a juicer, even though it takes a little bit more time, I take the veggies and fruits and mix them well in a high speed blender with a little bit of water. Then, I strain the liquid in a strainer to get all the juice out of it and remove the solid part of the mixture. If you own a juicer, than go for it and use it because it will require a lot less time to make! After making the juice, feel free to adjust the ingredients quantities to your own preferences. You want your juice to be sweeter? Add one more apple! You want it to be less sweet? Add more greens!

y o u w i l l n e e d:
1 big apple
2 sticks of celery
1 cup of cucumber (it's okay if you leave the skin on)
a big handful of kale
a big handful of spinach
1 carrot
1/2 cup of orange juice or freshly squeezed orange juice
h o w t o m a k e i t:
- Simply place all the ingredients in the juicer and there you go! If you do not have a juicer, blender it all in a classic blender and pass it through a strainer. The second way of doing it might take a bit longer but it's worth it!
