Classic Hot Chocolate

Correct me if I'm wrong but, I really feel like hot chocolate is the beverage everyone likes! Especially right after being outdoors for a long time in winter. It's so comforting, quick to make and for some reasons, it just makes people happy! So today, I'm here to share with you a very quick hot chocolate recipe that you can make at home and impress all the non-vegans in your household! What I like the most about this hot chocolate recipe is that you really can you use any plant-based milk you like.

2 1/4 cup plant-based milk (I used almond milk but any other plant milk can work too!)

a few pieces of vegan dark chocolate
1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1/4 tsp ginger (optional)

1. Froth the almond milk with a espresso coffee machine until you cannot touch the bottom of the pitcher for more than on second. This means the milk is ready!
2. In a small pot, add a few pieces of dark vegan chocolate (the more pieces of chocolate you add, the stronger and tastier your hot chocolate will be), the steamed almond milk. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted.
3. Heat the mixture on the stove to reach the desired temperature for your hot chocolate and serve!
4. If desired, add 1/4 tsp of both cinnamon and ginger.
